THE ROLE

This is a client-facing tax advisory role built for someone who leads with ideas, not just outputs.

You’ll lead a portfolio of growth-focused business clients, bringing proactive, tailored advice that moves them forward. You’ll review financials, identify tax strategies, spot the angles others miss, and show up to client meetings with fresh thinking. Our technical compliance team handles the detail so you can stay in the conversations that count. 

There’s no people management responsibility here - just you, your clients, and the space to do good work.

What you’ll actually do day-to-day: 

  • Review financials and identify high-level tax risks and opportunities

  • Lead client meetings with insight, clarity, and new ideas

  • Collaborate with colleagues to sharpen thinking and solve problems

  • Connect clients to The Goods ecosystem where it adds value

  • Drive business development and contribute to pushing the firm forward 

You’re probably the right person if you’re: 

  • CA/CPA qualified with 7+ years in business advisory

  • Genuinely curious about your clients’ businesses - not just their numbers

  • Collaborative, clear-thinking, and someone who backs their recommendations

  • Brisbane-based and ready to do meaningful work, well
